You can close your Fyer account and have the personal data attached to it deleted. This page explains how to ask, what is removed, and the two things we cannot remove.
01Withdraw your balance first
Refund any unused voucher balance before you ask us to delete the account. Closing the account does not convert a balance back for you, and once the account is gone we have no way to return it to you.
Open Refund in the app, send the balance back to a wallet you control, and check that it arrived. Then come back here.
02How to ask
Email us from any address, with the subject Delete my account:
Tell us the wallet address you used to sign in. That is how we find your account.
We will ask you to prove you control that wallet by signing a short message we send you. We do this because a deletion request is irreversible, and an email address alone is not proof that the account is yours.
We confirm within 30 days. Deletion happens as soon as the check passes.
03What is deleted
- Your name, nationality and date of birth.
- The one-way hash of your passport number.
- The link between your wallet address and your identity.
- Your device and push-notification tokens.
- Session and sign-in records.
04What we cannot delete
Two things survive, and it is fairer to say so plainly than to discover it later.

| Transaction and voucher records, for 5 years | Anti-money-laundering rules require us to be able to reconstruct who transacted and what moved. We cannot shorten this on request. These records are separated from your identity where we can, and deleted when the period ends. |
| Blockchain deposits, permanently | A transfer you made on a public blockchain is on a ledger nobody controls — including us. It cannot be edited or removed by anyone. |
05Other requests
You can also ask for a copy of your data, correct something that is wrong, or stop notifications without closing the account. Those are described in section 08 of the Privacy Policy, and go to the same address.
